I got a new Iphone, and am enjoying playing around with it. Was going through my postcast app and went to the Christian and Spirituality section. Found a podcast for Timothy Keller, a presbyterian minister with a church in NY I'd never heard of before. So last week I listened to one and then another of his sermons and felt that they resonated with me, and what I believe. For years I have listened to Alistair Begg, a Scottish pastor out of Cleveland, but I have gone through most of his sermons, and lately I find some of them a bit too intellectual and harder to grasp without a lot of concentration... Anyway, funny thing was that after listening to several sermons of Tim Keller's, I was going for a walk and downloaded one about forgiveness, a topic that is on my mind these days. Can you imagine my surprise when I found that that one was delivered by Tim Keller at Alistair Begg's church?! Ah! I had to tell someone so shared it with Bianca. For the past week I had been telling her about this new pastor I thought she could listen to and would be able to understand better, and she was asking if I no longer liked Alistair Begg. I told her it wasn't that. So she got why I was so surprised that Tim Keller was preaching at Alistair Begg's church. Anyway if you are curious, take a listen. You may be surprised to find you are interesting in hearing more :-)
